What am I reading?
Dorothy Tanning's Between Lives...
Thomas Sowell, Marxism.
Lynn Tillman, The Madame Realism Complex...
Pynchon, Against the Day...
Hegel, A Graphic Guide, (a small Graphic Book, published in the U.K. ) and
Larry River's What Did I Do"...., and
The Little Prince...reading it on my Kindle Library, where the pictures, back lit, really shine......
P.S., I had written here what I'm writing about but then erased it because it's too much in early progress. I guess I take my writing pretty seriously for such a geriatric beginner, but there it is.
........
Weeks later; Still in the middle of Pynchon, feels like the lap of luxury to wile away time on such a tome...Also, just received a copy of the Barthes Reader edited by Susan Sontag, more feeling of gratitude....I suppose why I read so much is partly how much I hate writing, but can't give up...Artist's child guilt syndrome.
Months later....,
12/24/16
.....Reading Iris, by John Bayley
Introducing Levi-Strauss, Wiseman, Groves
Early Cold War Spies, Haynes, Klehr
